At 'Les Planards Leisure Park' in France on Sunday 1st June 2008, unlimited riding of the summer luge all day long for just 8 euros per adult, 5 and 3 euros for children.

The profits will go to the AADC Research.

For the 3rd year and for this special day, we hope the sun will be with us and there will be lots of people to help children with AADC

Was thinking about doing a brochure with info about AADC with a picture of Nathan. What do you think?

Sunday 8th June - Jake's 3rd and hopefully biggest 'MARCH OF HOPE' 6-mile Sponsored Walk To be held at Royal Russell School, Croydon, Surrey (UK Event). As well as walking around the woodland grounds of this beautiful school there will be plenty of other things to do and see, such as a Balloon Race, Plant Stall, BBQ, Bar, Tea and Cake Stall, Face Painting, Bouncy Castle, 2nd Hand Book Stall, Arts and Crafts Stall, Jo Jo the Clown, raffle, silent auction and hopefully much more. You may like to see Jake's story which was shown on UK Television a couple of years ago. The video is in two parts and in total about 17 minutes long. The story explains how Jake's quality of life improved as a result of being correctly diagnosed with AADC, sadly this is not the case for most children living with this devastating brain disease.

HAVING already worked so hard for the AADC Research Trust, we're proud to announce that pop diva Gabrielle has officially nominated us as her chosen charity.

The star, who has enjoyed a string of worldwide hits, has proved an invaluable patron to the AADC, attending both of our sponsored walks and our fund-raising gala in May where she performed her greatest hits to rapturous applause.

A little boy looses his battle with AADC (public forum)

It is with deep regret and a heavy heart that we report the sad loss of another child to AADC. He was a 4 year old little boy from Taiwan who sadly and unexpectedly passed away in his sleep.

This only highlights the desperate situation of some of our children and the urgency needed for AADC Research. We are truly sorry we weren't able to find any answers in time to save him.

Our sincere condolences go out to his family and we wish them all the very best for the future.

Hi Lisa,

About the chocolate fundraising.. net profit of $2 per bar. Min order is 24 boxes (1box has 24 bars of chocolates). We have 28 days to sell them. Chocolates not sold can be refunded provided the shipment is not opened (1 shipment contains 4 boxes of chocolates). Am I making myself clear???

Anyway, let me know what you think? As I did mentioned, profit is not alot esp when you convert to the pound.

Amanda Runs 26 miles to Raise Money for AADC Research!

Congratulations to Amanda Rubin who joined the P.F CHANG�S ROCK �N� ROLL MARATHON in Arizona, USA and ran 26 miles in aid of AADC Research last Sunday (13th Jan 2008). Amanda decided to take part in honour of her twin nieces Sydney and Delaney who both suffer from AADC deficiency. Amanda says "she hopes the amount will help towards Research and bring some hope to these two wonderful little girls and all children who suffer with AADC"
