It's a huge responsibility taking on help at home and trusting someone new to come in and get involved with your family. We took on a lady who has turned out to be a god send and now a very dear family friend...she's been with us since Jake was 18 months old. She takes care of the house really...but she has grown very close to him over the years. Incredibly she is 72 and puts me to shame with the amount of energy she has

A friend suggested a better idea....she mentioned about putting a tin and a poster up in businesses ie pharmacies in our case and we can raise money that way. Better still, dont have to put out any money into buying the chocs and dont have to worry about not selling them all once a box is opened. I have bought the tin cans today (for gold coin donation) and will be making up the posters. We will put a tin each where our friends work.
ps. Worker is better but I am watching her still...doubt she will do anything to Nathan as she has a Down Syndromn boy.

| There's a company we use called Vista Print for some of our printing, especially for fundraising...www.vistaprint.com, they are a cheap (global) printing company, you can select your country, create an account and design stickers etc...etc. We have an account so if you find a design idea we could pay for it and have it shipped to you.
If you need the logo let me know and i'll e-mail it to you!

No, the chocolates arent personalised but you have given me an idea for that...maybe we can print some information and stuck them on. Dont know whether how the chocolate would work sending them over to the UK...
People have just gone back to work and children just started school and so good time to start soon.

 just kidding...Are these chocolate bars personalised in any way, logo on the wrapper, details of the Charity that sort of thing. If they are we could look at getting them in some sort of retail outlets. We have 4 events this year we could sell them at and i'm sure its the sort of thing maybe other families could have a go at....every one loves chocolate!!!
All profit is good however small...its just the work involved in selling them!

About the chocolate fundraising.. net profit of $2 per bar. Min order is 24 boxes (1box has 24 bars of chocolates). We have 28 days to sell them. Chocolates not sold can be refunded provided the shipment is not opened (1 shipment contains 4 boxes of chocolates). Am I making myself clear???
Anyway, let me know what you think? As I did mentioned, profit is not alot esp when you convert to the pound.
